ERIS HEIGHTS

The Apartment was to be designed on a site with a restricted area. This shaped the form of the building. To accommodate gardens, floor plates were shifted to create balconies and terraces on both the sides of the structure. Four of the apartments are designed as cantilevers to the main structure providing terraces with garden on them.

The core of the structure has been designed as a central lobby, that accommodates the staircase and the lift. Services and refuse chutes have been placed in the central core itself. The houses are designed to be daylit through fenestrations in all the areas. The orientation of the building is towards the prevailing wind direction facilitating natural ventilation through the windows.
